Jyunpaku Okinawan Pure White Bitter Melon
 This Japanese bitter melon variety is extra large and mild. The fruits become pure white until fully maturing to a bright golden color. It is said to be more mild than other bitter melon varieties and the edible red pulp around the seeds is sweeter than other varieties. Bitter melon is most often added to soups or eaten raw, and is known for it’s health benefits.  
 It grows best in full sun and warm temperatures, the vines like to climb so growing on a trellis is best.
